From Game Maker to Python
In this workshop, I will try to guide the beginning of a transition from Game Maker to the Python programming language for games, using Pygame.At the end of this workshop, my hope is that you will be able to develop a simple Pong game. After that point, you can apply your Game Maker knowledge to move on to more complicated things.
Optimally, you should have the following installed if you want to follow along:
Python 2.6 or later: http://www.python.org
Pygame 1.8 or later: http://pygame.org
