A Legend of Zelda: Horn of Balance

What is Horn of Balance?
Horn of Balance is a Zelda fangame build from the ground up since 2008.
While the result currently already looks and feels remarkably alike alttp on SNES the goal is actually not to build a *perfect* remake of the original engine. Dungeons all have original designs. Various mechanics are new or subtlely altered. And more and more new enemy (and boss) sprites and AI are introduced with every update.

Ultimately though it's all done in good fun and for your entertainment so please enjoy.

Default controls*:
D - Action button (open doors / read text / grab / etc) + Confirm button (while in menus)
G - Attack button (hold and release for a full swing attack) + Cancel button (while in menus)
S - Perform run action (if you have the boots available)
P - Pauses the game (can be used to exit the game)
R - Use item A
F - Use item B
H - Brings up item menu
E - Brings up map menu

* The controls can be personalized in the options menu at the start of the game.

A friend recorded a let's play video for dungeon 1 a while back. Half the fun is discovering things yourself, but should you require hints then you can choose to check out the following video:

On some keyboards the simultaneous pressings of certain keys will cause input to not register. If this happens for you adjust the controls in the options menu at the beginning of the game.
